The Academy is an outstanding example of a Free School located in Croydon. The building services are designed with energy efficiency as a top priority. This is achieved by utilising a balance of natural daylight along with, hybrid, natural and passive ventilation.
The project also utilised the benefit of a combined heat and power (CHP) unit as a primary heat source, with the electricity generated being fed back into the main LV board and national grid. Harris Invictus won the Education Estates Project of the Year Award 2018.
