Halsion designed, supplied, installed and commissioned all of the MEP services to this new-build, state-of-the-art leisure centre that now provides excellent facilities for the local community of New Addington and replaces the previous leisure centre located on Champions Parade. The new centre boasts two swimming pools, one of which is a 25m, 6-lane pool complete with a viewing gallery, a fully equipped gym, a large community hall, an activity studio, a café, multiple changing areas and a 4-court multi-use sports hall.

A number of carbon reduction and environmental initiatives were incorporated, including photovoltaic panels, natural ventilation and a combined heat and power unit (CHP) which is located in the prefabricated mechanical plantroom that Halsion engineered and installed onto the roof. Halsion also deployed our high quality installation methods
for the exposed services within the corrosive environments
(swimming pool areas) and ensured the quality control, witnessing and sign off of all components, equipment and fixings were to the highest standard and fully protected.
